Morici, Longo & Associates is happy to announce that intern, Kristen Farr Capizzi,a junior at Chicago Kent, as part of the Chicago-Kent trial advocacy team, has won the Chicago Regional Championship of the 2017 American Association for Justice (AAJ) Student Trial Advocacy Competition and will be advancing to the national finals. Chicago-Kent will compete against the top teams from 13 other regions from March 30 to April 2 in Cleveland.
The AAJ is a broad-based international coalition of lawyers, professors of law, paralegals, and law students.
Kristen earned her B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her team was coached by John Montelongo (alumni- 1991), Nicholas Economakos ’12, and Nicolette Ward ’16. Chicago-Kent’s trial advocacy team is currently ranked third in the country and has won numerous individual student honors and competitions at the regional and national levels.
