Since the novel coronavirus pandemic officially began in March, Chicago personal injury and worker’s compensation law firm Morici, Longo & Associates has been committed to putting safety and community first. We have taken measures to keep our office safe, made donations and provided PPE to those in need, and participated in community involvement throughout the COVID-19 crisis and will continue to do so for as long as necessary. We wanted to share our accomplishments so far and thank everyone who has contributed to these endeavors—we could not have achieved so much without the aid and support of our community!
Here is a summary of some of the efforts we have participated in so far:
- We are offering our friends, colleagues, and clients free masks. All you have to do is head to our website and fill out the form on this page. We will send the mask to your address right away, although we ask for your patience as shipping times may vary. Masks have been shown to slow the spread of COVID-19 and we are glad to contribute to the safety of our community in this way.
- We have also donated thousands of our MLA face masks to first responders, teachers, health care workers, and to nursing homes in an effort to support these brave front line workers right to PPE (personal protective equipment).
- We have made donations to the Greater Chicago Food Depository and the Illinois Food Bank through our trial lawyers organization. In addition, we have made a $10,000 donation to The American Red Cross and are continuing to support the Maine Township Food Pantry.
- We have established strict health and safety guidelines and protections within our office so that our staff and clients can feel safe and at ease when they come in for work or a visit. We are also offering fully remote consultations for our clients, which can be done over the phone, via email, or through a video conferencing service such as Zoom.
